Airlines slash fares, woo passengers

Isn’t this exciting? Who would have imagined that airlines in Nigeria could ever consider cutting down fares to woo customers. There was a time tickets cost N22,000 and now it is possible to travel some routes for N7,000, awesome!Though the global economy is unstable, it is obvious that increase in competition between airlines is also responsible for the slash in air fares – just like in the telecommunication industry in Nigeria. Also, apart from the inconveniences like time and safety identified with road travel, this is still the more affordable option for most avaerage Nigerians depending on the purpose of travel.  Whatever, the case, this development however, has brought some excitement to the airline industry.
